FAQ
How to fund for India — questions answered
What is FundHind?
FundHind (सेवा परमो धर्मः) is an Indian crowdfunding platform launched in 2025 by a group of working professionals. It is deliberately anonymous — no founders, no faces, no power positions — and exists to let anyone on earth fund the causes of India in crypto, with 0% platform fee.
How do I donate to India from abroad?
Pick a verified cause, scan its payout wallet address, and send crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT and more) from any wallet — from Mumbai, Dubai, London or anywhere. Your transaction id is then recorded in the public ledger against that cause. No bank approval in a third country, no remittance forms, no fees.
Is my donation refundable?
No. Like all blockchain transactions, crypto donations cannot be reversed once confirmed — please double-check the amount, network and cause before sending.
How is my donation matched to the cause I picked?
Your transaction ID (TXID) is matched against the address and amount for the coin and network shown at your donation step, then verified on the blockchain before being marked confirmed. It is the donation record — not a separate wallet — that ties your gift to the cause.
When does my donation reach the cause?
Your transfer goes to the cause's verified payout wallet. Once the team behind the cause clears KYC and your transaction is confirmed on-chain, it is recorded against the cause in the public ledger — the money was already theirs the moment it hit their wallet.
Do you take a platform fee?
No. FundHind deducts nothing from any donation — network fees charged by the blockchain itself still apply, as they do with every crypto transaction. The platform itself runs on separate voluntary support, if you ever want to keep the lights on.
Who runs FundHind?
An anonymous initiative — no founders, no faces, no power positions. It was started in 2025 by working professionals who couldn't spare enough time or money alone, and is run by like-minded people around one vision: सेवा परमो धर्म — helping Indians in every way possible.
Can I get a receipt?
Yes — add your email at the confirmation step and we'll email a receipt once your gift is verified on-chain. Tax treatment depends on your jurisdiction; consult a qualified tax advisor.
What if I send on the wrong network?
Each coin shows the one network we accept (for example, USDT is TRON / TRC-20 only). Blockchain transfers can't be reversed, so a coin sent on a different network may be lost. If it happens, contact us with your transaction ID straight away — recovery is sometimes possible, but isn't guaranteed.
What if I send the wrong amount?
Your donation is still confirmed for whatever amount actually arrives on-chain — crypto prices move, so the USD-equivalent value may differ slightly from what you entered.
Why crypto and not a bank or UPI?
Crypto is the rail that lets anyone on earth fund India — at 2 AM, in minutes, with no freezing of funds and no gateway between you and the cause. The blockchain also makes every gift publicly verifiable, which is the whole point.
